Description
As part of the Integral Design Project at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering this project has been done for a local metalworkshop Mak-D in Madina-Accra, Ghana. The aim of this project was to help the local metalworkshop by providing the necessary input to help Mak-D to grow its business and to help the disabled; this has be done by developing a new product which integrates the interests of the company, the customers, the users of the product and the rest of society.

 

After analyzing and doing a lot of research ‘The HighSpot’, a trade-tricycle is designed and developed, which enables Ghanaian disabled to involve in streettrade, the sector that provides employment to the major part of the population of Ghana.
Extra
FanMilk started a pilot July 2006, selling icecreams by using the HighSpot.
